The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead on various installations and advancements of equipment at our Cement Manufacturing site in Cauldon, Staffordshire. Internally known as an Electrical Project Engineer you’ll lead on multiple projects simultaneously, across the full lifecycle of each project.

We are investing in the modernisation and decarbonisation of this industry so have strong plans for CAPEX investments through improvement and new opportunities of equipment installations. You’ll need to understand manufacturing processes and possess a technical aptitude to correctly implement projects and make technical recommendations to limit the effect to production whilst installations are underway.

With a large variation of projects on site you’ll have the opportunity to lead on work in excess of £1m and will build relationships across multiple internal and external stakeholders to see projects through to completion.

You’ll be tasked to correctly identify and maintain relationships with suppliers for the supplier and/or installation process as well as work with internal teams to utilise onsite resources where available.

Who you are

You’ll have an Electrical Engineering background, now looking to lead on projects in a manufacturing environment.

You’ll excel in your organisational skills, able to grasp and maintain control on various projects across this heavy industrial environment.

You’ll ideally hold an Engineering degree, or be keen to further develop your qualifications and skills.
