Job Description
A fantastic Leading FMCG Business based in Thirsk are looking for a skilled and experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing maintenance team. This role is working Monday to Friday, on a 4-shift system, earlies, days, afters, and nights and is paying £52k with shift allowance, plus overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical (low voltage and control wiring) Mechanical and pneumatic maintenance of food processing and utility equipment
Input to the upkeep of a Maintenance Plan of Work for the plant (CMMS)
Undertake planned and preventative maintenance activities
Attending and resolving breakdowns
Contribute towards system/process improvements
Take the lead on the journey towards a more reliability engineering-based approach to maintenance
Administer the purchasing and stock control of engineering parts/ spares etc
Implement current Health and Safety procedures and assist in further development and improvement of maintenance and engineering procedures We value:

HACCP/good hygiene and housekeeping with a strong Health and Safety focus
Team working and collaboration skills
Good literacy and numeracy skills tied in with Microsoft office and SAP experience
Previous Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
