Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Type of Work: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: January 2025
Pay Rate: GBP95+ per day
Hours: 8:30 am 3:30 pm
About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Manchester starting in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) where youll play a pivotal role in supporting the learning and development of young children.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons tailored to the Early Years curriculum.
Help foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn through play.
Provide individual and small-group support to children to help develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
Assist with classroom preparation, activity planning, and monitoring pupil progress.
Support children with varying needs, ensuring that each child feels included and valued.
What Were Looking For:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed candidate with:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working in an EYFS setting and a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
A positive, proactive approach to supporting young learners development.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Eligibility Requirements:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years.
Hold up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential, as training can be provided).
