Job Description
Cloud 9 are working with a highly successful packaging distribution company who are looking to appoint an experienced Area Sales Manager for the North West. In your new role you will be responsible for sourcing and winning new business opportunities and managing a portfolio of accounts. Our client is strong on providing a first-class service and boasts an extensive range of products which you will sell using your talent and experience for providing packaging solutions for your customers' needs. Key Responsibilities
* Identify, source and develop new business into the company.
* Identify and visit potential customers and their decision-makers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
* Attend potential customers to discuss tailored packaging solutions, bringing new customers onboard.
* Maintain and develop existing accounts, looking for new opportunities to ensure repeat business.
* Develop and nurture relationships with existing customer, cross-selling where applicable.
* Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
* Develop a strong knowledge of company products and packaging solutions.
* Follow up all leads, quotes and enquiries using CRM system maintaining strong sales administration at all times.
Skills and Experience
* At least 2 years' experience selling in the packaging industry, with a packaging distribution background.
* Demonstrable successful history of winning new business and developing an area.
* Commercially astute.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
* Target-driven and focused with a strong desire to succeed.
* Pro-active, self-motivated and results driven.
* Excellent communication skills with people at all levels.
* Excellent relationship building skills.
* Excellent time management.
* Excellent customer service skills with a desire to provide the highest customer experience.
* Computer literate.
Remuneration
You will receive a salary of up to £40k DOE, plus commission and car allowance.
