Toro Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join an innovative engineering services provider across the South of England. The successful Electrician will be responsible for electrical installations, testing, and commissioning on client sites, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. The role of Electrician offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills, and become part of a forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrician will include:
* Conduct electrical installations and refurbishment on water company sites in line with project specifications.
* Perform testing and fault-finding on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and other standards.
* Travel to client sites and occasionally stay overnight during the week based on project needs.
* Prepare and submit necessary documentation, including survey reports and installation certificates.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support mechanical trades as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with 17th/18th Edition certification and 2+ years’ experience.
* City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection and ECS Gold Card (advantageous).
* Strong knowledge of health and safety practices, including working in confined spaces.
