Job Description
Astro Education are looking for an experienced Teacher of Science join a Secondary School in Birmingham. Starting in January the role will involve teaching all 3 science subject, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
About the Opportunity
Astro Education is looking for a qualified and experienced Science Teacher for a secondary school in Birmingham. The role involves teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4 the Science curriculum, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the academic year, focusing on raising student attainment and supporting them to reach their full potential. This role will be on a Temporary to Permanent basis and all applicants who hold QTS will considered.
Required Experience:
* Experienced teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 Students (or similar environment).
* Hold QTS or equivalent.
* Be flexible, patient and adaptable
* Be able to communicate effectively within a team
* Will to take on full teaching responsibilities.
* Open to/ or have experience of working with a variety of SEN.
* Be able to work core school hours.
