After School Club Manager
Location: Forest Hill SE23
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Part-time 17 per week 2.30pm – 6.00pm Monday – Friday
Contract: Permanent Term-Time Only
Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling career?
We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a self motivated, enthusiastic Manager to lead our well qualified team at one of our after school clubs in Forest Hill SE23. The candidate would need to hold a level 3 in childcare and have experience of working with EYFS children. The role is to oversee a team of nine play workers, delivering a wide range of activities to children from the age of 4-11.
Duties
– Overseeing child collection, activities, snack time and organising staff appropriately.
– Registering children daily, using our online registration system.
– Building strong relationships with families and school staff.
– Leading a team of 9 staff, to ensure all child needs are met, every day.
– Adhering to the After School Club safeguarding policy.
– Weekly online management meeting with Executive Childcare manager and other area managers
You’re someone who’ll be able to:
* Contribute to the smooth running of the facility
* Maintain a safe and stimulating play environment
* Develop opportunities which encourage children’s social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development through play
* Have a fun and approachable manner with children and young people.
