Job Description
Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading valve maintenance company.
We require a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK.
* This will be a home based role
Essentially you will need:
* Recognised industry qualifications
* High level of competence on a range of Valves (Control, Choke, Butterfly, Isolation and PSV), Actuators and Instrumentation.
* Experience of working on customers sites is essential.
* Capability of working with technical/problematic valves and be able to establish a way forward/solution that is acceptable by both the customer and Severn Technical department.
* Validated competence through the company competence scheme.
* Knowledge and experience with all Microsoft packages.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Offshore certs desirable, but not essential
* Full UK driving licence
The role:
* To provide the business with a full set of skills for an individual to carry out the companies and customer’s requirements for valve repairs to be carried out on site. Also, the job requires a high amount of flexibility and availability from the individual to meet the customer’s requirements
* Field service activities associated with onsite repair and associated equipment.
* This may include working and travel to Worldwide, offshore and UK locations.
* To respond to customer on call requirements if applicable for the above site activities
* Carry out the onsite disassembly/assembly and testing of all types of valves, actuators and associated instrumentation in accordance with the companies/customers QA/QC and Health and Safety procedures.
* Control and record additional activities that take place which are not covered under the scope of work.
