We are seeking an experienced Contract Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical - Multi-Skilled) to join our manufacturing team. Based in the Northamptonshire/Bedfordshire/Milton Keynes area, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance (PPMs), and attending to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of production machinery and equipment.
• Attend to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing faults promptly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Conduct inspections, repairs, and modifications on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and uptime.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, ideally with automated machinery.
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work different shifts as required.

Contract Details:

• Duration: Ongoing contract, with the potential for extension.
• IR35: Role can be engaged either inside or outside IR35
• Location: Northamptonshire/Bedfordshire/Milton Keynes/ Peterborough area - some travel may be required.
