Residential Support Worker – Children with Learning Disability and Mental Health needs
Location: Bolton, Farnworth
Salary: £12-£12.25ph depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, with flexible shifts to work days or nights or a mixture of both.
44 hours a week – shifts

About the House
It’s a large, detached home offering a safe, supportive environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma, mental health challenges, and/or learning disabilities. With extensive outdoor space, its got opportunities for relaxation and recreation, including outdoor sports and activities in the garden, especially during the summer months.
Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
* Provide consistent, high-quality care to children and young people.
* Build trusting relationships to support emotional, social, and educational development.
* Support the young people in daily activities, including outdoor sports, gardening, and recreational pursuits.
* Promote a safe and inclusive environment tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the children and young people feel valued and understood.
* Support with caring and nurturing wit help prepare meals / ready for school
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of young people.
* Experienced in supporting children with trauma, mental health issues, or learning disabilities (desirable but not essential).
* A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
* Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
