Are you an experienced Project Engineer looking for your next role? We're partnering with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the engineering strategy at a thriving manufacturing site based just outside of Scarborough. You'll be working with cutting-edge systems and technologies while receiving support for professional development and getting involved in projects that span maintenance, safety, compliance, and team collaboration.
The successful Project Engineer will be responsible for:
Overseeing maintenance systems and ensuring compliance with safety and documentation standards.
Managing capital and revenue projects from initial planning through to completion.
Collaborating with production, quality, safety, and engineering teams to align priorities.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Supporting global engineering initiatives, including training and providing system expertise.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and CE marking.
The successful Project Engineer will have:
HND/HNC (or equivalent) in engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, and Power BI.
