SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: Croydon
Age Group: 11-19 years
School Type: SEN School
Salary: £85 - £95 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Croydon, helping students aged 11-19 with Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and complex needs.
Your Role:
Provide 1:1 and group support to students with ASD, PMLD, and complex needs.
Help deliver personalized, engaging learning experiences.
Assist with personal care and physical needs in a safe environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student progress.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with SEN students is helpful but not required (training provided).
A caring, patient, and resilient approach to supporting young people.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to assist with personal care tasks if needed.
