SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: Wimbledon, London
Hours: Full-Time (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Pay: £85 - £90 per day PAYE
We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a welcoming school in Wimbledon, supporting children and young adults aged 3-19 with autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and complex care needs.
Your Role:
Provide 1:1 or small group support in lessons and activities.
Assist with personalized learning plans in collaboration with teachers.
Support students with personal care
Help manage behaviour with positive reinforcement.
Track and celebrate student progress, adjusting support as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with SEN (ASD, PMLD, or complex needs)
A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude.
Willingness to help with personal care
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A flexible and positive approach to student needs.
