Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Southampton
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £120 - £200 per day

TeacherActive are currently looking to recruit several Learning Support Assistants to support a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities school in Southampton. The school caters for children aged 5-11 who experience social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, along with additional needs such as ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), and other associated disabilities.
We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to make a positive impact on the lives of children who need tailored, hands-on support in a nurturing and child-centred environment. The successful candidate will work alongside the teaching staff to provide support for students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
Experience working with children in SEND settings, especially those with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
A caring, patient, and nurturing personality with the ability to build strong relationships with children.
Experience supporting children with Autism/ASD, ADHD, or other SEND needs is beneficial.
A positive attitude and a commitment to supporting children's individual learning needs.
