Location: Kent, UK
Employment Type: Self-Employed (CIS), Long-Term/Permanent
Daily Rate: £220 - £250 CIS

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for client approval and fabrication.
* Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop and modify designs.
* Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
* Assisting with general design tasks and overseeing project workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
* Review and refine designs in collaboration with the engineering team.
* Maintain organised records of drawings and related documentation.
* Stay updated with advancements in CAD technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
* Experience in 3D modelling is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and steelwork design principles.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
* Knowledge of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) engineering.
* Familiarity with fabrication processes and standards.
* Experience in producing drawings for both client approval and fabrication stages.
