Job Title: Accounts Manager – Agriculture Team
Salary: £35,000–£40,000

The Role for Accounts Manager
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our Agriculture team. You will manage a diverse portfolio of farming and landed estates clients while providing leadership and oversight to junior team members. This role is an excellent opportunity to combine your expertise in accounting with your passion for the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities for Accounts Manager
* Review year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, prepared by junior team members.
* Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring accounts are prepared within budget and time constraints.
* Review monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
About the Service Line
The Accounts and Business Services division provides a comprehensive range of services, from payroll to VAT and bookkeeping, with specialisations in key sectors, including agriculture. The focus is on building long-term relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and tailored advice.
Attributes Required for Account Manager role
* Qualified accountant (AAT, ACA, or ACCA).
* Strong interest in working with agricultural sector clients.
* Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and preferably CCH Accounts Production and Xero.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Team player with a client-focused and commercially aware approach.
* Ability to perform under pressure while remaining flexible and adaptable.
