Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager

BDS are recruiting for an Experienced Retirement Housing Coordinator to work in Retirement Living Services across the Oldham area.

We are looking for someone with a friendly and happy demeanour to be the first point of contact for the residents of the service.

Hours; Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm per week

Duration – 6 months covering secondment- could extend following this

YOU WILL NEED TO BE A DRIVER WITH ACESS TO A VEHICLE

Mileage between sites paid at 45ppm

Pay rate; £17.17ph PAYE- £21.72ph UMB

Main duties

* Speaking with the residents daily

* Signposting information on other services, in and around the area.

* Checking the property for any repairs and reporting these as required,

* Overseeing the service to ensure the smooth running.

* Involving the residents in activities within the service

* Arranging activities for the residents of the service, fish and chip nights, scrabble nights or even a game of cards,

* Health and safety checks and fire alarm panel checks,
