Job Description
Build Maintain Recruit are working with a regional consultancy with 4 offices based around the South West. They’re now in the market for a Infrastructure Engineer/Designer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to apply your expertise across a diverse range of projects, from small highway upgrades to large-scale residential and commercial developments. Key Responsibilities:
Designing infrastructure for a variety of commercial and residential developments, both large and small
Leading designs from initial appraisal through to planning and detailed design, including infrastructure, external works, and drainage
Applying a strong understanding of highway and drainage design standards
Proficient use of relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site3D, and Micro Drainage
Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety standards, including CDM regulations
Effectively managing time and maintaining detailed project records Job Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Post-graduate experience in a consultancy environment
Comprehensive knowledge of highway and drainage design standards
Expertise in drainage standards, including Sewers for Adoption, Sewerage Sector Guidance, Code of Adoption Agreement, and CIRIA SuDS Manual (C753)
Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site3D, and Micro Drainage
Strong organisational and time management skills, with a solid grasp of standard engineering practices Benefits
