Location: Telford
Salary: £26,000 - £31,200
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of high-quality residential care services for children and young people. They are looking for dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Workers to join their team and contribute to the well-being and development of the young people in their care.
About the Role
As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people. Working closely with the Home Manager and the wider team, you will:
* Build positive and trusting relationships with young people to support their emotional and social development.
* Implement individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans to meet the diverse needs of each young person.
* Encourage and facilitate young people’s participation in education, health appointments, and other activities.
* Assist with domestic tasks to maintain a welcoming and homely environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to deliver the best outcomes for young people.

Requirements
* A willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent).
* Experience working with vulnerable young people (desired but not essential – full training provided).
* A valid UK driving licence (preferred, for transporting young people).
