Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ACCA / ACA qualified Senior Client Manager to join a well-established and rapidly growing accountancy practice in Waterlooville.

This is a superb opportunity to lead a growing team as they start to expand and increase their client list. You will be ACCA / ACA qualified with at least 5 years’ experience working in a similar UK based accountancy practice.

Requirements:

• ACCA / ACA Qualified.
• Recent experience working in a similar UK based accountancy practice.
• Experience managing a portfolio of varied limited company, sole trader, and partnership clients.
• Experience overseeing the preparation of year end accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax, and personal tax self-assessment.
• Ideally you will have experience managing a small team but candidates who have mentored junior staff will also be considered.
• Experience reviewing the work of junior accountants.
• Client facing experience with the ability to conduct account review meetings.

Duties:

• To be the senior accountant within a team of 4-5 accountants.
• Mentor junior staff and review the preparation of year end accounts from trainee accountants.
• Lead a small team, managing the workflow and ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Liaising with clients, conducting account review meetings and being first point of contact for all client enquiries / queries.
• Oversee the preparation of year end accounts and the associated tax.
• Complete the preparation of year end accounts and associated tax for a limited number of complex clients.
