About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team within Meal Solutions Cavaghan & Grey division and carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.
Key Responsibilities
You will be required to carry out daily electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
Working within a fast-paced environment covering all the electrical engineering maintenance activities.About You
You will have a minimum of qualification of NVQ Level 3 but we warmly welcome individuals who have recently completed their apprenticeship programs and are eager to take the next step in their careers.
Key Skills
Experience in industrial electrical engineering
Electrical systems understanding
Experience within the food industry, manufacturing, machinery or automation preferred but not essential
17th edition IEE wiring regulations (desirable)
IOSH working safely
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsThe role is based at our Meals Solutions Cavaghan & Gray site in Carlisle and will consist of 12-hour day and night shifts 2 days 2 nights, subsequently 4 days off.
