About the Role
As a multi-skilled Engineer who is mechanically bias, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team within our Meal Solutions division and carry out daily mechanical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.
Key Responsibilities
You will be required to carry out daily mechanical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
Working within a fast-paced environment covering all the mechanical engineering maintenance activities.About You
You will have a minimum of qualification of NVQ Level 3 and hands on experience in any Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Key Skills
Hands on experience on mechanical systems.
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical maintenance.
Experience within the food industry, manufacturing, machinery or automation preferred but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsThe role is based at our Meal Solutions site in Carlisle and will consist of 12 hour shifts 2 days on 2 nights on then 4 days off.
