Join Our Team as Corporate Sales Manager!

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Corporate Sales Manager to lead our efforts in promoting Ellen Kensington Hotel as a preferred destination for both local and international clientele. This role involves implementing targeted sales strategies to maximize revenue across Rooms, Events, Food & Beverage, and other services while coordinating efforts with other properties as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate sales within the luxury hospitality sector, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets. Theywill primarily focus on Ellen Kensington but will also support corporate sales initiatives for other establishments within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Revenue Growth:
    Develop and implement effective sales strategies for Ellen Kensington, focusing on Group, Corporate, and Leisure segments to maximize revenue across all hotel offerings.

  • Client Relationship Building:
    Establish and nurture relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers, and other stakeholders to secure new and repeat business. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and inquiries.

  • Cross-Property Sales Coordination:
    Work with associated establishments to align corporate sales strategies, sharing insights, resources, and best practices to support overall revenue growth within the companys portfolio.

  • Revenue & Opportunity Optimization:
    Identify revenue opportunities within Rooms, Event Spaces, and Food & Beverage by analyzing market trends, competitive positioning, and demand data, ensuring strategies are adaptable to changing conditions.

  • Event Sales & Corporate Bookings:
    Actively pursue event and corporate bookings, overseeing the sales process from initial inquiry through to final execution, ensuring seamless service and client satisfaction.

  • Promotional Activity & Networking:
    Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to generate leads and enhance Ellen Kensingtons brand visibility within the corporate and leisure markets.

  • Sales Planning & Reporting:
    Assist in the development of an annual Sales Plan, working closely with management to establish targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed to meet revenue goals.

  • Collaboration with Revenue Management:
    Coordinate with the Revenue Manager to implement pricing and yield management strategies, ensuring optimal room occupancy and maximizing profitability.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education:
    Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 3 years in a sales management role within the luxury hospitality sector, with a focus on corporate and group bookings.

  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets within a multi-segment hospitality environment.
    • Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
    • Familiarity with CRM and Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera.
    • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple properties.
