SEND Teaching Assistant - North Liverpool

Milk Education are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant for a 1:1 SEND role in a Secondary School On The Wirral to work on a long-term basis starting September, this is a temp-to-perm opportunity!

You will support a child with ASD in the classroom, the child already has a successful learning plan which you will continue to implement . You will have breaks throughout the day to take the child to the sensory room

SEND Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

● Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students

● Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs

● Supporting 2 children alongside another member of staff

● Deliver catch-up sessions

SEND Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:

● Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.

● Must have a passion for education

● Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

● Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
