Job Description
Our client, a key player in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is currently seeking a PCB Design Engineer to join their team in Pulborough. This permanent role offers a hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
PCB design for high voltage power supplies and control electronics
Schematic entry from design engineering sketches
Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies including piece part information
Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials
Maintaining PCB library
Maintaining the DCC drawing system
Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams and schedules
Adhering to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems
Job Requirements:
HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design
Knowledge of analogue, digital and surface mount technologies
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
Experience with CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor and AutoCAD are advantageous)
