Iconic North Devon Harbour side Inn seeks Inspirational Head Chef
Lynmouths iconic, award-winning Rising Sun Hotel is seeking an ambitious head chef to take our food offering to the next level. Currently crowned best destination pub by Muddy Stilettos and featured in Devon Life as well as many national publications we are looking for an inspirational and aspirational head chef looking for an opportunity to shine on the regional and national stage.
We have ambitions for greatness and we are looking for someone who is excited to be a part of our long term vision of putting Lynmouth and the Rising Sun back on the map as a luxury destination in North Devon. The food offering at the iconic Rising Sun has always been consistently good but we are ready to turn this into excellent and see this being a real draw to bring guests from the surrounding areas and much further afield.
The Rising Sun is a famous 14th century smugglers inn situated on the beautiful harbour at Lynmouth, North Devon. We will receive significant investment this Winter to develop three new luxury sea view suites, bringing our total number of bedrooms to seventeen. Our sister hotel across the river has a further eight bedrooms.
