£49,942 - £53,108 per annum + local government pension


Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working in partnership with a well-respected local authority in the Midlands. We are supporting City of Lincoln Council with recruiting a Principal Lawyer to join their legal services team permanently. As well as being a part of the senior management team, this unique opportunity provides the chance to be involved with a diverse range of work including commercial, procurement, and property matters.


About the Principal Lawyer opportunity:


You will be supporting with the delivery of major projects and leading on strategic commercial and property matters.


Duties of the Principal Lawyer opportunity will include:


  • Leading on commercial and residential property matters
  • Supporting two junior members
  • Advising on strategic and complex matters
  • Advising, negotiating and drafting all commercial contracts

Experience required:


Qualified as a Solicitor or Cilex qualified. We would be extremely interested in hearing from candidates with a private practice or public sector background.
