Aftermarket Project Manager,

About the Role:

In this newly created position, you will take charge of managing aftermarket projects, including large-scale refurbishments and installations of cooling systems. Your work will involve collaborating with customers and coordinating internal teams and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects involving full refurbishments and installations, typically valued around £200,000 and lasting approximately 3 months.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as their primary point of contact throughout project execution.
• Coordinate teams of 67 direct and subcontractors, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously (34 active), while planning for upcoming ones.
• Ensure projects adhere to budget constraints and achieve quality performance standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, engineering, and procurement to meet project requirements.

About You:

• Proven experience managing technical projects, preferably in the aftermarket, cooling, HVAC, construction, refurbishment or similar industries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage contractors.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with experience handling several projects concurrently.
• Proficiency with project management tools, including SAP and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to industrial projects.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time for site visits and meetings.
