Job Description

Working in Taunton, our client is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Assistant.

Your new company
Working for a leading professional services firm in Taunton, Somerset who have a growing customer base.
Your new role
Working at head office within the finance team you will undertake the following duties for your clients;
Inputting expenses, invoices, credit notes and other journals.Supplier statement reconciliationsProcessing payment runsDealing with multiple client and supplier queriesCoding invoices to the General Ledger and cost centresReviewing aged creditorsLiaising with auditors at year-endPayrollLiaise with clients regarding queriesComplete anti-money laundering process for new and existing clientsWhat you'll need to succeed
Working with a range of different clients you will need to be flexible and show great initiative. Previous accounting experience is a must, ideally you will be AAT Level 4 qualified and be familiar with personal and business tax regulations, VAT and PAYE.
