Job Description

Search are looking to recruit an Accountant to join our client's Stirling office on a permanent basis with hybrid working.

Within the role, you'll support the finance function through the delivery of timely reporting and financial analysis. If you have a background in management accounting, possess good interpersonal skills and are looking to join a supportive team, you would be encouraged to apply.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Approving banking transactions in line with regulations.
* Handling VAT returns.
* Preparing management and year-end reports.
* Conducting financial analysis and reporting.
* Supporting and mentoring team members.
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Collaborating with other departments.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
* Demonstrable experience in management accounting or similar role.
* Knowledge of VAT.
* Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant desirable.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
