Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will support their Quantity Surveyors in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure project specifications are met.
Support in the preparation and submission of tender documents.
Assist in the valuation of completed work and arrange payments.
Help in the management of project costs to ensure that the project is completed within its budget.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, project management software).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
