Sous Chef

This role is a 4 day working week - which means great work/life balance.As the Sous Chef you will be responsible for:

• Menu Development - create innovative and enticing menus that showcase your culinary experise and cater to diverse tastes
• Kitchen Management - oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness and adherence to safety and hygiene standards
• Staff Leadership - inspire and lead a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Quality Control - maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency to exceed guest expectations
• Cost Management - control food costs through effective inventory management, portion control and waste reduction
• Compliance - ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as food hygiene standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a senior chef role, with a track record of success in a high volume establishment
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating diverse and innovative dishes
• Demonstrate ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle the demands of a busy kitchen
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing circumstances
