Job Description
Are you an experienced wireperson/mechanical fitter looking for your next position? After a role with long-term prospects with exciting projects? Then look no further! You could be working for an ever-expanding telecommunications company in Waterlooville.
You will be able to use your previous experience of performing wiring including but not limited to, wiring control panels, looms, data cabinets and all relevant wiring terminations. You would also need to be competent performing various mechanical assembly processes, so you should know how to use some hand tools. Installing the wiring into the cabinets, fitting hinges and doors and brackets, this job will see you working on various projects with different tools - a great opportunity to diversify your skillset and CV. Experience in crimping, harnessing and looming will all count very much in your favour, as would experience with hand and air tools. No formal qualifications are required for this role.
As an experienced wireperson and mechanical fitter it goes without saying that you will be able to work from engineering drawings and any qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential; your experience is key!
