Job Description
Due to continued growth I’m currently recruiting for a NDT Technician to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the NDT Technician you will be responsible for adhering to standards, policies and regulations regarding NDT Technologies.
What’s on offer for the NDT Technician:
* Competitive salary rate up to £35,000 p.a.
Working hours for the NDT Technician:
* Monday – Friday (7.30am – 16.00pm)
Duties of NDT Technician:
* Adhering to standards, policies, and regulations regarding NDT Technologies
* Assisting with customer concerns re NDT processes and methods
* Awareness of latest technology in NDT testing, attending additional training where required
* Maintaining required personal qualifications and records, PCN etc
* Support NDT Supervisor in maintaining and controlling test equipment and standards e.g. UT test blocks maintaining and promoting 5s in NDT area.
The successful candidate for the NDT Technician’s position will have the following experience:
* 3 – 5 years’ working as a NDT Technician (Essential)
* Minimum qualifications to hold PCN level 2 in at least one or preferably two NDT disciplines e.g. UT, DPI, MPI visual (Essential)
