Humanities Teacher Opportunity – Starting in January 2025
£162 - £242 per day
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Humanities Teacher to teach at a secondary school in Derby. This role involves delivering lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, or Religious Studies, encouraging students to explore and understand the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons tailored to diverse learners.
* Develop resources that promote critical thinking and global awareness.
* Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback.
* Create a positive learning environment that supports exploration and debate.
* Collaborate with staff to support curriculum delivery and enrichment.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary school level.
* Strong knowledge of one or more Humanities subjects.
* Passion for engaging students in global and historical perspectives.
