Development Manager

Location: Flexible, covering a workload across the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West
Salary: £45K - £55K per annum + Discretionary Bonus
Contract: Full time, Permanent

About the Development Manager role:

We're seeking a motivated and personable Development Manager to lead and manage development and regeneration projects for both Public and Private Sector clients.

You'll need to demonstrate strong leadership, a solid understanding of planning, viability, design development, and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

In this role, you'll be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, from assessing development sites for feasibility to managing client relationships and procurement.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our projects while enjoying the autonomy to make impactful decisions.

As our Development Manager you will be specifically responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery of development/regeneration projects across various phases.
  • Managing multi-disciplinary teams and reporting to clients.
  • Conducting planning and feasibility/viability studies.
  • Overseeing the procurement of professional teams and necessary reports.
  • Collaborating with local authorities and consultants during planning applications.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Chairing project meetings and managing budgets.
  • Supporting the Directors in client development and project growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Development Management or a similar project delivery role.
  • Strong understanding of the property development and planning process.
  • MRICS, MRTPI, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with MS Project (or equivalent).
  • A proactive, solution-focused individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing clients, project teams, and building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to deliver on time and within budget.
