Job Description

Global Organisation seeks a Finance Manager to join their business on a permanent basis. The Finance Manager would be a Newly Qualified Accountant ideally practice trained or a couple of years post qualified with industry experience.

The Finance Manager would be responsible for preparing statutory accounts and managing a team. This is an expanding organisation and would suit a technically strong proactive individual.

Duties of the Finance Manager include:

  • Delivering comprehensive financial reports.
  • Preparation of full monthly statutory accounts
  • Overseeing the Accounts Payable function
  • Preparing financial statements, including balance sheet and cash flow statements.
  • Responsible for preparing accruals, prepayments, and other month end journals.
  • Ensuring the balance sheet is fully reconciled at month end.
  • Preparing the monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to aid business planning
  • Managing end-to-end audit process of current systems
  • Managing cash flow and budgets
  • Conducting financial forecasting and collaborating with department heads to manage P&Ls
  • Reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Maintaining robust financial systems to support current operations and future growth
  • Implementing controls and procedures
  • Ad-hoc projects

Requirements for the Commercial Financial Controller include:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong technical background
  • Strong Excel
  • Strong attention to detail.
