Behaviour Mentor who has worked with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMHJob Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience working with young people, especially those with challenging behaviour, would be advantageous.
Skills: Strong behaviour management, patience, empathy, and the ability to think quickly in fast-paced environments are essential.
Availability: Full-time commitment, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Positive Role Model: The mentor must be a reliable, approachable individual who can guide and support students while being a strong, positive role model.
DBS: Candidates must hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting students with complex needs, helping them overcome challenges related to their SEN, ASD, and SEMH.
Acting as a role model, encouraging positive behaviours and offering emotional and academic support.
Reacting quickly to challenging situations, managing student behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.About the School:
