Cryptographic Engineer | Oxford | Salary DOE
We are working with a fast-growing, innovative technology company that specialises in advanced hardware solutions for secure encryption. Backed by both VCs and government funding, this company has successfully gained traction across various industries, including security, communications, and data processing.
Our client is seeking a Cryptographic Engineer to help develop and implement secure cryptographic hashing algorithms for their cutting-edge products. The successful candidate will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of experts, including engineers and physicists, to build the electronic back-end for a groundbreaking new technology.
In-depth expertise in entropy generation, testing, and cryptographically secure hashing methods is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and analyse cryptographically secure hashing algorithms for random number generation.
Investigate side-channel attacks and develop countermeasures.
Contribute to the development of cryptographic standards.
Assist in API development for integrating cryptographic functions into the stack.
Learn quickly and proactively contribute to projects.
Experience in hardware development is a plus.Benefits:
