Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £417-£425 per week
Start Date: January 2025
ABC Teachers are excited to invite applications for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join an SEMH Specialist School in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time opportunity starting in January 2025.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant in our SEMH school, you will:
Support Educational and Emotional Development: Provide tailored support to meet the social, emotional, and educational needs of students.
Collaborate with Teachers: Work closely with classroom teachers to deliver an engaging and adaptive curriculum that helps students achieve their individual goals.
One-on-One and Group Support: Offer one-on-one assistance or lead small group activities to encourage social skills, resilience, and independence.
Long-Term Potential: This full-time role offers potential for a long-term or potential permanent placement for the right candidate.

About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification: Essential for this position.
Experience with SEMH Needs: Previous experience supporting children and young people with SEMH needs, or those with complex and additional learning challenges.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to quickly build rapport with students and colleagues, fostering positive relationships.
DBS Check and References: Be able to provide suitable references and pass a DBS check.
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
