Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer

Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent

Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home with up to 30 days per year spent at our Horizons office

Salary £30,942 pa plus benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy and fast-paced Apprenticeships Team, to aid with supporting our apprenticeship students to reach their full potential! As an Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer, you will play a key part of apprentices programmes through the undertaking of high-quality progress monitoring, supporting both students and employers within an allocated caseload. Not only will you be motivating students but also engaging both apprentices and employers to ensure a high-quality apprenticeship provision which meets their needs and requirements.


Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Schedule, plan for and undertake high-quality progress monitoring and review activity for an allocated apprentice caseload.
  • Monitor apprentices participation in off-the-job training.
  • Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress and other factors within each allocated apprentices e-portfolio.
  • Contribute to apprentice on-boarding activities.
  • Support the implementation of outstanding Safeguarding practice.

Our main requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum level 2 Maths and English qualifications (grade C or above) we will require evidence of this for Ofsted.
  • Experience monitoring and reviewing learner/apprentice progress.
  • Experience supporting learners/apprentices in identifying and setting SMART targets.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
