SEND Teaching Assistant - M9!
Milk Education are recruiting for purpose-driven, ambitious SEN Teaching Assistants to join one of our Primary schools across North Manchester to work on a long-term basis starting in January!
You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic enviornemnt for those with additional needs.
This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
* Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
* Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
* Deliver catch-up sessions
Essential Qualifications:
* Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
* Must have a passion for education
* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
* Must have experience using Personal Care
