Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School, Southwark

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a vibrant and inclusive Mainstream Secondary School in Southwark. The role is full-time and long-term, starting immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across various subjects.
Support individual students and small groups with their learning.
Help with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment.
Provide tailored support for students with additional needs where necessary.
Supervise students during break times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Support the preparation and organisation of classroom resources.
Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback where appropriate.Requirements:
A graduate in any discipline (preferably related to education or a subject area taught at secondary level).
Previous child-based experience is preferred, but not essential.
A DBS check on the update service is required for this role.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students.
A passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and a team player.
