Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Covering multiple NHS Health Trust sites
Contract Type: Temporary, Ad-hoc Shifts
Salary: Competitive hourly rates (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including medical history, psychological evaluations, and diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy, medication management, and other interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and counselors, to deliver holistic care.
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment for patients in acute mental health distress.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Stay current with advancements in psychiatry to provide state-of-the-art care.Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) and board certification in Psychiatry.
Valid license to practice psychiatry in [specific region or country].
Experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
