The School and Role
We are currently seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within a school in Durham starting in Janaury 2025. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working in small groups, supporting children who find it challenging to focus in school. The successful Teaching Assistant will have a calming and nurturing approach and will be able to provide an engaging atmosphere for the children they’re working with.
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
Experience of working with students with Autism or other additional needs
A passion for education and helping people
A nurturing and engaging personality
