Job Description
Mechanical Supervisor – Reading - circa £30 per hour - Start 6th January 2025
AndersElite require a Mechanical Supervisor, with a strong trade background in mechanical services, to work as a supervisor on a commercial refurbishment project in Reading, starting 6th January 2025.
This is a freelance / contract position and will last for approximately 6 months from start date until completion of the project.
The main duties of the role will be supervision and co-ordination of relevant sub-contractors within heating, A/C, fan coil units, sprinkler systems and ductwork installations. It would also be a big advantage f you are able to perform some tasks in a working capacity such as basic plumbing, but the role is 90% supervision.
Candidates should have site experience of refurbishment and new build projects in the commercial sector and be able to interpret mechanical drawings and design layouts as well as being IT literate.
Applicants must have the SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) and up to date CSCS certification in order to apply, while a 1st Aid at Work certificate would also be required.
Payment is based on experience, approximately £30 per hour, typically working 9hr days Monday to Friday,
