Year 3 Primary Teacher
Daily Rate: £145 - £200
Location: Wakefield
Type of Role: Full-time and Part-time options
We are seeking a dedicated and confident Year 3 Primary Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in the heart of Wakefield. This school provides a supportive and engaging environment and the school is committed to providing consistency in teaching and ensuring the growth and development of every child. Both full-time and part-time roles are available.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students.
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to Year 3 students
Effectively manage classroom behaviour and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall planning and delivery of the curriculum.
Participate in school-wide activities and events.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience in managing challenging behaviour and implementing effective behaviour strategies.
Strong understanding of child development and different learning needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
