Rydym nawr yn chwilio am Swyddog Pobl Ifanc i ymuno ni yn llawn amser, gan weithio 37 awr yr wythnos, am gontract tymor penodol o ddwy flynedd.

Y Rl

Fel Swyddog Pobl Ifanc, byddwch yn arwain mentrau i gysylltu pobl ifanc Pharc Cenedlaethol Eryri.

Gan ysgogi cyfranogiad ieuenctid, addysg a chyfleoedd gyrfa, byddwch yn arwain y gwaith o greu a gweithredu Maniffesto Ieuenctid Eryri. Bydd hyn yn sicrhau bod lleisiau pobl ifanc yn cael eu mwyhau trwy sefydlu Fforwm Ieuenctid a chyfleoedd ymgysylltu eraill.

Byddwch hefyd yn goruchwylio'r gwaith o wella'r Cynllun Ceidwaid Ifanc, gan sicrhau ei dwf a'i hygyrchedd a datblygu rhaglen newydd i hyfforddeion a phrentisiaid.

Gan gydweithio sefydliadau lleol, byddwch yn ehangu allgymorth i grwpiau ieuenctid nad ydynt yn cael eu gwasanaethun ddigonol ac yn meithrin llwybrau addysgiadol a gyrfa yn y parc.

Yn ogystal, byddwch yn:

- Gweithredu fel y cyswllt canolog ar gyfer ymholiadau addysgol
- Hyrwyddo rhaglenni ieuenctid trwy gyflwyniadau cyhoeddus, adroddiadau a chyfryngau cymdeithasol
- Sicrhau cydymffurfiaeth rheoliadau iechyd a diogelwch, gan gynnwys asesiadau risg

I gael eich ystyried yn Swyddog Pobl Ifanc, bydd angen:

- Y gallu i gyfathrebu yn Gymraeg a Saesneg
- Profiad o weithio gyda phobl ifanc a sefydlu, trefnu a chyflwyno rhaglenni ymgysylltu phobl ifanc
- Profiad o weithio mewn partneriaeth ag ystod o asiantaethau a sefydliadau ym maes gwaith ieuenctid
- Profiad o fonitro a gwerthuso canlyniadau eang ymgysylltu phobl ifanc
- Y gallu i arwain a rheoli rhaglenni gwaith
- Dealltwriaeth o bwrpasau a rhinweddau arbennig y Parc Cenedlaethol a chynefindra nhw

About Us

Eryri National Park Authority (ENPA) protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.

We are now looking for a Young People Officer to join us on a full-time basis, working 37 hours per week, for a two year fixed term contract.

The Role

As a Young People Officer, you will lead initiatives to connect young people with Eryri National Park.

Driving youth participation, education and career opportunities, you will lead the creation and implementation of the Eryri Youth Manifesto. This will ensure young peoples voices are amplified through the establishment of a Youth Forum and other engagement opportunities.

You will also oversee the enhancement of the Young Rangers Scheme, ensuring its growth and accessibility and developing a new trainee and apprentice programme.

Collaborating with local organisations, you will expand outreach to underserved youth groups and foster educational and career pathways within the park.

Additionally, you will:

- Act as the central contact for educational inquiries
- Promote youth programmes through public presentations, reports and social media
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments

About You

To be considered as a Young People Officer, you will need:

- The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
- Experience working with young people and establishing, organising and delivering programmes of youth engagement
- Experience working in partnership with a range of agencies and organisations in the field of youth work
- Experience monitoring and evaluating the broad outcomes of youth engagement
- The ability to lead and manage work programmes
- An understanding of and familiarity with the National Parks purposes and special qualities
- To be educated to a degree level in a relevant subject or have equivalent experience
- A full, valid driving licence

Please note, occasional evening, weekend and Bank holiday work will be required.
