Job Description
Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Durham/Newcastle (3/ 4 days hybrid)
Day Rate: £500 per day inside IR35
Contract length: 6-month contract (with a view to extend/ go permanent)
The Company
Our client is an international main contractor within infrastructure across rail, highways, water, construction, and power. With a heathy orderbook of projects, and a longstanding framework critical to the Northeast region, as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you have the opportunity to contribute to a driven commercial team lead by a supportive and commercially astute Commercial Manager.
The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will initially be supporting projects within highways that are due to be completed by the end of the year, with more funding to be released for future projects in 2025.
Not only this, but you will also be supporting projects in a longstanding framework covering groundworks, flood alleviation and managing rivers to protect homes and help provide clean drinking water by improving the UK’s struggling waterways from sewage, unnecessary leaks, and pollution.
What You Will Need
You need to be a Senior Quantity Surveyor from a General Civils background working in NEC contracts.
