Job Description
Brownlee Cale are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor for a large civils project in Middlesbrough.
Responsibilities
* Manage, monitor and interpret the design documents supplied by the design team.
* Act as the main technical adviser on the site for subcontractors.
* Liaising with all stakeholders to manage electrical related activities, including progressing of programmes, risk assessments and method statements.
* Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
* Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are in accordance with the design, specifications and employers’ requirements.
* Have an in depth understanding of all elements of electrical design and construction techniques.
* Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general operatives involved in the project.
* Communicate with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
* Overseeing electrical works to ensure they are being installed as per design.
* Checking technical design drawings for accuracy and ensuring they are followed correctly.
* Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications / Employers Requirements
* Assisting with quality assurance aspects of electrical works
Experience
* C&G Electrical engineering or similar
* Experience of working in a construction compound
* Supervising within a CDM environment for 3+ years
* Temporary works
